High Pressure Hydraulic Cylinder
High Pressure Hydraulic Cylinder is customized for Godrej Tooling Division and is employed for opening the interiors of Prithvi Missile. As the opening of the shell from the inside part needs high load, we have organized something out of the ordinary. The cylinder is operated at the pressure of 450 kg/cm2 and is of 650mm bore. It has the capacity to lift the load, which is even more than 1340 tons.
This high pressure hydraulic cylinder has the capacity to bear the load that is close to 1340+ tons! If it holds a pressure of 450 kg/cm2, it means there is requirement of design pressure of at least 675 kg/cm2.
There are only few pipe manufacturers in India, who make this kind of product. The yield point of the basic structure should be advanced, if it has to bear the high load. For this attainment, we selected a forged assemblage to adapt to the consequent stresses. By reducing the wall dimension of the body, we ensure that there is not any fault in the casing. This results in a diminished yield stress rate. The Plain Mild Steel is not capable for handling it at the existing possible wall thickness, and for this very reason, we went back to the drawing board and brought multiple modifications. We looked up to all varieties of steel modifications and eventually established a particularly made C45 forged body.
The material has to be bored out of the physical structure and takes several days of uninterrupted operation. This placed stiff demand on our delivery system as we accepted the orders in late December and Early January with a dispatch program that works within 12 weeks.
Simulation
We possess an actual space device, which works as a tool of increased safety. Being absolutely sure of this safety, we organized a simulation that has been assembled by employing the simulation software. When the results are checked and proved over and over, we place and release it for the manufacturing procedure.
